'Avengers: Endgame' Child Actress Lexi Rabe Speaks Out on Facing Online Bullying

People can be amazing but people can also be, well, the worst. It turns out child star Lexi Rabe from Avengers: Endgame is getting bullied online. The young actress came into the spotlight when she played Tony Stark's daughter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster.
The seven-year-old actress and her parents took to social media to speak out against the hateful messages. Lexi's mother, Jessica, wrote in an Instagram caption, "I hate that we even have to post this. But yet again Lexi's getting bullied." The post features a video of the child star asking people to stop attacking her and her family.
"Please keep your opinions to yourself so Lexi can grow up in the free world," her mother continued in the caption. "She's a normal human being and she's a child. Sometimes we're rushing from place to place stressed like everyone else to get to set on time or work or whatever and we seem a little grumpy. I'm sorry if you see us this way but that's life! If you ask us for an autograph we always almost say yes. If we happen to be having a bad day that might put us right on the right! We are not perfect!"
In an interview with Good Morning America, Jessica said that a woman told Lexi how to behave while in public while she was playing with her brother. She explained:
"Online we got a message that she was acting out in public. Meanwhile we were trying to get stuff ready for a premiere we were going to, and we were tired and we were sick ... I guess this woman was upset that she didn't get to come up to us and talk to us, because we were tired and we weren't in a great mood. If she would have come up to us, we would have said, 'Hello.' But she didn't."
But fans are also jumping to Lexi's support. One wrote on her Instagram page, according to GMA: "Try to block out the negativity girl. You're such an incredibly talented and strong girl! Online bullies are just wasting their time trying to tear you down."
Despite the negativity, Lexi is continuing her role in the spotlight and recently appeared in the new film Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
