Aubrey O'Day Spills Tea on Past 4th of July Party Where Kim Kardashian Was Allegedly Hooking Up With Travis Barker

According to Aubrey O'Day's Instagram Story, Kim Kardashian is no fun on the Fourth of July. For those who don't know, O'Day is a singer-songwriter and reality television personality, best known for being a member of the girl group Danity Kane. This past weekend, users on Reddit shared a post O'Day wrote on social media about the time she spent Independence Day with the queen of reality television herself, Kim.

"Aubrey O’day posts about her worst 4th of July experience. Says she was with Kim and Kim was hooking up with Travis Barker at the time," Reddit user Xoxneesa began the thread. The post was accompanied by a screenshot of O'Day's explanation of what she calls the worst Fourth of July she ever experienced.

"I was 'bffs' with Kim Kardashian during a fourth. She was hooking up with Travis Barker and we were at his house...he was really dope," the story began. O'Day explained that Barker's ex Shanna Moakler was threatening to slash Kim's tires, so they decided to leave Barker's residence. "We took off and went to some BS Malibu parties where she desired to be photographed, and I had to run around house after house in an uncomfortable dress and high heels to appease that," she continued.

Apparently Independence Day is one of O'Day's favorite holidays because she loves to watch fireworks, and she was upset that Kim's attention-seeking antics made sure they were stuck in a car on the freeway when the fireworks started. Not wanting to anger Kim, O'Day pretended to be unfazed and convinced the reality star to pull over and sit in the grass to watch the fireworks.

"We sat on this plot of grass watching [the fireworks] and all I remember feeling is relieved to see the beauty of them," O'Day added. "And then [Kim] turned to me and said, 'You know, last year on the Fourth I was on a yacht with Paris Hilton in the middle of some remote beautiful place (I was barely paying attention so I don't remember exact) and this year I'm sitting on a plot of grass in Calabasas with you.'"

People had varied reactions to the story on Reddit. "Aubrey's a huge (and unsuccessful) clout chaser so I feel like she manipulated this story a bit," said one user, with another commenting, "To be fair Aubrey used to be much bigger than Kim and Kim would hang around her for clout."
