Ariana Grande's 'Thank U, Next' Video Smashes YouTube Record for Most Views in 24 Hours
By Kwadar Ray

Ariana Grande is no stranger to success as a multi-time Grammy-award nominee, and the singer is continuing to break barriers.
Grande's song "Thank U, Next" was an instant hit when she released it in November. On Friday, the highly anticipated music video was released and it became an overnight sensation. Not only is the song the top trend on YouTube, but it broke the site's record for most views in 24 hours with 46 million.
Arianators are beyond proud of their favorite artist's achievement.

The music video, which was a mix of a Mean Girls parody and an ode to all the boys Ariana's loved before, also broke the Vevo record for most views in 24 hours. Grande was sure to take note of the video's success.

The view count continues to grow. It's already nearing 80 million views in just two days and there's no sign of Ariana stans stopping.

The accomplishment does not come as a major surprise considering social media was abuzz since Ariana revealed the music video was going to pay homage to some of the top teen movies of the 2000s. All the hype obviously paid dividends.
