Ariana Grande's Next Single 'Imagine' Comes Out This Week
By Jennifer Fabiano

Ariana Grande fans have been getting spoiled over the past few months as the 25-year-old singer showers them with content, and with her next album on its way, she has no intent of stopping anytime soon.
On Tuesday, Grande made fans very happy with three simple words.

Imagine will be the second single that Ari has given us off of Thank U, Next, the pop star’s fifth full length album.
Last time Ari dropped a single, she nearly broke the internet. And then when she dropped the music video for that single, she actually broke the record for most views of a music video within 24 hours with her star-studded Thank U, Next video.
Fans have known Imagine has been coming since Ari teased it in the Breathin and Thank U, Next music videos. In November, Ari even gave fans a little taste as to what the song is about.
a simple, beautiful love that is now (and forever) unattainable

Well, that doesn’t make it sound like Imagine will be super uplifting, but then again, it doesn’t seem like any of her next album will be, as Ariana has gone through some dark times. Between the Manchester bombing outside her concert that claimed 22 lives, her split from ex-fiancé Pete Davidson, and the tragic death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, the last few years have been rough for her. It makes sense her music will reflect that.
"A lot of it sounds really upbeat, but it’s actually a super sad chapter," Ariana said in her cover story for Billboard's Women in Music issue.
On Tuesday, Ariana also posted an Imagine countdown clock to her Instagram Story. The clock revealed that the new single will drop on Friday at midnight on the East Coast.
Honestly, can you imagine a world without Ariana Grande? We don’t even want to think about it.
