Ariana Grande Reacts to Winning Her First Grammy Award

Just as the singer predicted, God IS a woman--and her name is Ariana Grande.

The TV star turned pop sensation took home her first Grammy last night: Best Pop Vocal Album for her Aug. 2018 album, Sweetener. Others nominated in the category included Camila Cabello, Kelly Clarkson, Shawn Mendes, P!nk, and Taylor Swift.

Grande, 25, was not at the ceremony to accept the award following a clash with producers of the show earlier in the week over her setlist. She was announced as the winner a few hours before the show, as were a few others.

"F--k," Grande tweeted after it was announced she would be receiving the honor. "I know i'm not there tonight (trust, I tried and still truly wished it had worked out tbh) and I know I said I try not to put too much weight into these things .... but f--k ....... this is wild and beautiful. Thank you so much."

She then went on to thank her producers and voters in another tweet, which acted as a sort of acceptance speech, given she was not there in person to thank everyone she wanted to.

Even though she was not present to physically accept the award, her fans are still endlessly supportive and happy for Ariana's win--and we are too.
