Ariana Grande is Reportedly Headlining Lollapalooza

Weeks after news broke that Ariana Grande is performing at Coachella Valley Music and Art Festival in April, fans have something else to celebrate. A new report by Variety announced the 25-year-old singer will also headline Lollapalooza.

The Chicago music festival is set to take place in Grant Park from Aug. 1 to 4. An official confirmation of Ari’s appearance as a headliner most likely won’t come until the third week in March, when the festival lineup is usually announced.

The festival comes less than a month after Ariana’s last scheduled Sweetener World Tour date in the United States, which is in Salt Lake City on July 13.
The singer heads abroad after the music festival, with her first United Kingdom show in London on Aug. 17.

Though Ariana’s appearance at Coachella was announced first, the source revealed that discussions about the Chicago-based festival have been in the works for months. For Coachella, Ari received an invitation only days before the lineup was announced. Ariana was reportedly picked for the California festival after Kanye West’s stage demands grew too large.

As Coachella falls right in the midst of the singer’s Sweetener World Tour, Grande was forced to reschedule some of her April tour dates. Shows in eight cities have been rescheduled for June and July, while the Omaha and Raleigh gigs were unfortunately just outright canceled.
