Ariana Grande Explains Why Mac Miller Wasn't in the Burn Book for Her 'Thank U, Next' Video
By Kwadar Ray

Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next music video features some unforgettable, awesome cameos and homages to classic teen movies from the 2000s. However, fans also took note of some of the subtleties of the video, including what Ariana chose to put in her Burn Book.
The book features messages to her exes Ricky Alvarez, Big Sean and Pete Davidson. And while fans certainly noticed the racy comments the singer left for Pete and Big Sean, they also noticed the late Mac Miller is not mentioned in the Burn Book.
I really enjoy the thank u next video don’t get me wrong but the disrespect of Mac Miller not getting a page in the burn book smh

Instead, the video sees Ariana close the book to sing, "Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm, 'cause he was an angel." Many have been wondering why no photos are included of the late rapper, as his death was extremely heartbreaking for the pop star.
When a fan brought up Miller being included, Grande took to Twitter to address why he did not receive his own page.
M ain’t in the book he next to my bed

We're going to make an educated guess and assume she means there's a photo aside her bed of Miller, but it's simply not seen in the video.
If so, it is a touching tribute to her former longtime boyfriend. And Ari is not done paying her respects to Miller, as it was revealed in a recent interview with Billboard there will be a song on her upcoming album, Thank u, Next, about the rapper.
