Ariana Grande Ends Possible Feud With 2 Chainz by Enlisting Him for '7 Rings' Remix

When Ariana Grande released the music video for "7 Rings" two weeks ago, the singer's hope was for it to garner critical acclaim similar to her other recent videos for "Thank u, Next" and "Breathin."

And while the song and video was a hit, it couldn’t escape a few controversies. Ari was accused by many fans and artists of cultural appropriation, along with stealing artists’ flow.

Among those who've accused Grande of plagiarism includes Princess Nokia and Soulja Boy.

While Soulja’s reaction was strong, another Atlanta-based rapper was less angry when expressing his qualms with the video. 2 Chainz pointed out the similarities between "7 Rings" and his promotion and album cover for "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music."

However, for anyone who was waiting for an Ariana-2 Chainz beef, it's not happening. Grande and the "Watch Out" rapper have officially squashed any bad blood between by collaborating on the newly released remix to "7 Rings."

Fans are praising Ariana for the major power move, especially after all the criticism she's received.

The remix will not be featured on the singer's upcoming album, Thank U, Next, however, which will drop on Feb. 8.
