Anna Faris Reveals Chris Pratt Texted Her About Engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger

One might think that when your ex-husband, who you were married to for eight years and share a six-year-old son with, announces his engagement to the world, you might be a tad bit upset. But when Anna Faris heard the news her ex was officially moving on, she had nothing but warm wishes for the couple.

Chris Pratt and fiancé Katherine Schwarzenegger announced their engagement on Monday, with both parties making it Instagram official.

Pratt and Faris announced their separation in Aug. 2017, much to the dismay of their fans. But while some may still be upset about the split, Faris is already publicly congratulating the happy couple.

On her podcast, Anna Faris is Unqualified, she also revealed her ex texted her to keep her in the loop. “Chris texted me this morning and he was like, ‘I proposed to Katherine last night.’ And I was like, ‘Ahh, that’s amazing,’” Faris explained, according to US Weekly.

Ever the jokester, Faris found a way to make light of the news. “And I texted him back like, ‘I just wanted to remind you I’m an ordained minister.’ I’m not very good at it,” she recalled.

“I’m so happy for them,” Faris continued. “I knew that it was gonna happen and I love her and I love him and I’m just so happy that they found each other.”

Faris also congratulated the couple via social media by commenting on each of their Instagram posts. On Pratt's post, Faris wrote. "I'm so happy for you both!! Congratulations!"

Schwarzenegger posted the same photo Pratt did to her Instagram a little while later, and Faris commented, "I'm so happy for you both!!! I love you guys!!"

We're happy Anna is happy, and we can't wait to hear details about the wedding from Pratt and Schwarzenegger.
