Amber Heard and Piers Morgan Feud on Twitter as He Insults 'Aquaman'

The battle between Jason Momoa's King of the Seven Seas and Amber Heard's Mera against the supervillains of Atlantis led to Aquaman owning the title of highest grossing film in DCEU history. And it appears Heard is also battling people off-screen.

The actress got into a Twitter fight on Thursday with TV personality/professional Twitter troll Piers Morgan.

It all started when Morgan chimed in on the new Gillette ad that has garnered massive controversy this week for essentially asking men to not harass women. "I've used razors my entire adult life but this absurd virtue-signalling PC guff may drive me away to a company less eager to fuel the current pathetic global assault on masculinity," Morgan tweeted. "Let boys be damn boys. Let men be damn men."

If your head hurt while reading that, you're not alone. Heard had a very short, but straight-to-the-point response for Morgan.

Morgan, who is no stranger to clapping back at people online, responded by incorporating Aquaman into the discussion.

"Hi Amber, Thanks for ordering a man to 'shut up' when he's defending masculinity," he began. "And congrats on your success with Aquaman - a movie that celebrates a ripped, topless, ultra-macho, trident-bearing superhero who wins his girl (you) by killing everyone."

Morgan isn't necessarily right with his analysis of the film. Sure, Momoa was shirtless for most of the film, but he didn't woo any girl by "killing everyone," as he used his powers for good during the movie and likely saved more people than he killed.

Heard and the rest of the Aquaman cast and crew have yet to respond to Morgan's tweet.
