All About Meghan Markle's Visit to the National Theatre in London

Meghan Markle visited the National Theatre in London on Wednesday looking as stunning as ever in a blush Brandon Maxwell v-neck dress.
This was the Duchess of Sussex's first official time to the theatre since becoming its patron. Kensington Palace confirmed that the ex-actress inherited the role from Queen Elizabeth back in January.

During her visit she spoke to director Rufus Norris, and got to see members from the Pericles Company come together for a workshop. She also got to see children from Edith Neville Primary School showcase a performance inspired by the work of War Horse.

Kensington Palace also said Markle is a "strong believer in using the arts to bring people from different backgrounds and communities together." This isn't surprising, considering she was an actress before marrying Prince Harry. She too went to theatre school and even volunteered at a performing arts after-school program for kids.
According to the Palace, the National Theatre launched its apprenticeship and trainee programme in 2011, which combines studying for formal qualifications alongside practical training.
While his wife visited the theatre, Prince Harry attended a Commonwealth Youth Roundtable in Lancaster.
