If you missed Luke Perry's final Riverdale episode last week, you have another shot at seeing him act, posthumously. Although Perry passed away in March of this year, fans were still able to see him play the loveable Fred Andrews in the hit CW show, and now we will see Perry in his last ever role in the new Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

The producers of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood have revealed that Perry's character will be Scott Lancer, who is an actor from a TV show which Leonardo DiCaprio's character Rick Dalton stars in.

“[Luke] brings a very vivid character who is charismatic, and he brings heart to whatever he does. I think that it will be a pleasure for those fans of Luke to see,” producer David Heyman told Entertainment Weekly.

Producer Shannon McIntosh also explained that Scott Lancer pays homage to the famous CBS western show Lancer. The name comes from one of the two brothers on the show, a veteran from the Union Army. The show follows a father and his two half-brother sons.

McIntosh also revealed that appearing in Tarantino's film was a "bucket list" kind of thing for Perry. “His performance is amazing and he will be remembered as we release this movie, and his family will celebrate his performance with us,” McIntosh said.

So we haven't seen the last of Perry yet, as we wait for likely one of his best performances to come.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premieres on Aug. 19.
