A Timeline of Lady Gaga's Boyfriends

2018 was definitely Lady Gaga's year, and 2019 might be even better. A Star is Born, which she stars in alongside Bradley Cooper, was finally released after years of it being in the works. The singer/actress saw major success with the film, and even won a Golden Globe for Best Original Song - Motion Picture for the film's hit song "Shallow."

Gaga also revealed in 2018 that she was engaged to boyfriend Christian Carino, though rumors had started circulating that he had popped the question since 2017. After their split earlier this year, the "Love Game" singer moved on to someone new, but only for a short period of time.

Here is everyone the 33-year-old star has publicly dated over the years.

Lüc Carl (2005 - 2011)

Before she became famous, Gaga started in a relationship with Lüc Carl, someone she would go on to date on and off until 2011. The singer revealed her song "Yoü and I" was inspired by him.

Matthew Williams (2008)

After meeting in Los Angeles, Gaga and Matthew "Dada" Williams became good friends and reportedly dated on and off in 2008. He then became the creative director of the Haus of Gaga from 2008 to 2010. "Dada is quite brilliant and we were crazy lovers, but I stopped it when we discovered what a strong creative connection we had. I didn’t want it just to be about careless love," Gaga once explained.

Speedy (2009)

Lady Gaga reportedly met model Speedy on the set for her "Love Game" music video. They went on to date in 2009, but only lasted for a few months.

Taylor Kinney (2011 - 2016)

Gaga's most public relationship was with actor Taylor Kinney, who she met when he played her on-screen love interest for her "Yoü and I" music video. "When you meet someone that's not intimidated by the amazing people that are around you [or] by the love that you receive—that's love," the singer told Fashion magazine on their relationship. "Men weren't always happy for me. It was very challenging to watch a woman be so successful." The pair went on to get engaged in 2015, but ultimately called it quits in 2016.

Christian Carino (2017 - 2019)

In 2017, Gaga began dating her agent Christian Carino. While they were pretty private with their relationship, we know they had been engaged since at least October 2018, when the singer confirmed it at ELLE’s Women in Hollywood event. It was confirmed in Feb. 2019 that Gaga and Carino had ended their engagement.

Dan Horton (2019)

In photos obtained by People, Gaga was spotted locking lips audio engineer Dan Horton in Los Angeles. Onlookers told the website that the pair seemed to be more than just friends, kissing multiple times. "She seemed confident and in a good place," an insider said. The two were seen together multiple times after, but in Oct. 2019, it was confirmed by the singer herself that they ended things. She took to Instagram and referred to herself as a "single lady," letting us all we needed to know.
