The Office fandom never ceases to surprise me. While there were so many memorable moments from the show's nine-season run, some of the best parts undoubtedly included Jim Halpert's pranks on his co-workers. Jim was known for going all out with his devious pranks, and apparently, they added up to cost quite a fortune. One fan of the show estimated how much the character likely spent carrying out his devious tricks, and included a full spreadsheet of meticulous calculation.

According to the fan (per BuzzFeed), the approximate cost of all of Jim's pranks added up to whopping $5,590.95... wow! You can see the full spreadsheet here.

According to the fan's calculations, Jim's most expensive prank was when he and Pam learned Morse code. On the show, Jim claimed they, "went and got a nanny and went out and took a class," to pull it off. The spreadsheet estimates the cost of the prank to be $3,120, assuming it took four weeks to learn, and classes cost $300 each, plus the cost of a nanny.

Jim was quite the jokester, and the fan filled up a total of 90 cells on the spreadsheet adding up his jokes. Time consuming? Yes. But also, Office fans love the intel! As one fan said on Reddit, can you really put a price on joy?
