While we all wait for any news regarding the filming or release date for Season 4 of Stranger Things, fans continue to eat up all the delicious little plot crumbs thrown in our direction. According to Cinema Blend, David Harbour is now giving us a little more than we expected, but also remaining mysteriously hush-hush about his character.

Now that fans know Jim Hopper somehow made it out alive in the Season 3 finale, they're all super relieved. However, the actor behind the fan-favorite character says that the Hop we all know and love is going to come back a little "different" after his "resurrection." How ominous. While on Justin Long's podcast Life is Short, the Golden Globe nominee shared of the trajectory of his character:

"So a lot of times we’ll just come up with things. One of the things was like wouldn’t it be cool to have this particular arc with him, so it was something we came up with on the fly. As you’re going you’re like, ‘Can you get a little bigger?’ And you’re like, ‘Yeah, yeah, let’s try that.’ Going into this season it was really important to lose weight. But it happens because of something. Like he’s almost resurrected in this season in a different way and you’ll see, because you may have heard, the end of Season 3, something happens and there is sort of a resurrection. He spent a long time living a very different life."

So what does this mean? Jim Hopper was an integral part of the crew throughout all three seasons of the Netflix series, and arguably, too important to just snuff out. So whatever changes he's gone through post-resurrection, there's no doubt it's going to be big.

Now we just have to wait on production to resume! In the meantime, check out these awesome deals here for Sling TV to catch up on all your favorite shows.
