If there's one person that has been with Ariana Grande through the thick and thin, it has been her Nonna, a.k.a. her grandmother Marjorie. Ariana gushes about her grandmother often during interviews and on social media.
Due to her great relationship with her, it is no surprise Ariana and her grandmother found a special way to celebrate the end of 2018: going out and getting tattoos.
Tattoo artist Mira Mariah shared a picture of Ariana's new, elegant ink.
2018 was a tumultuous year for the singer. Not only did she try to recover from the Manchester Bombing which occurred at her concert in 2017, but Grande also suffered the loss of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, and soon after split from her then-fiancé Pete Davidson.
Grande and Davidson notoriously got matching tattoos early in their relationship, which they eventually had to cover up post-breakup. But Ari has rebounded from that tattoo failure and now has one that's been approved by her 93-year-old BFF.
Ari's grandma got her late husband's nickname, "Ciccio," on the inside of her ring finger. Although it sounds kind of crazy, it was far from the wildest thing Nonna has ever done. "I feel fine...I've had a little bit more excitement than this," she nonchalantly said as her granddaughter recorded her reaction.
