Looking for Hawkeye in Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War promotion has been like a game of Where's Waldo?, except for the fact that Waldo wears red-and-white stripes, and we don't even know what Hawkeye is going to look like in this film.

Appearing on the Road to Infinity War Marvel art book cover, fans commented they could spot Hawkeye in the upper-left corner next to Loki and the Winter Soldier. Of course, the new book is meant to be a celebration of the past ten years of Marvel films from 2008's Iron Man up until Infinity War, so Hawkeye and the rest of the characters exist in their latest looks before the upcoming Avengers film.

"We did not forget the twice-nominated Jeremy Renner,” director Joe Russo told Joe.ie. "We cooked up a story for him that is a little bit of a long play. Not a short play.”

With that confirmation, it not only appears Hawkeye will have his own story in Avengers: Infinity War, but a longer arc that might even extend past Avengers 4. Recently, Sebastian Stan, who plays Winter Soldier, also confirmed his character's future post the current Marvel phase of films.

"All will be explained when people see the movie," said director Anthony Russo, "It’s all tied into the story.” Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27th.
