Winter is coming and so are the fan theories! Ever since the end of Season 7 where viewers watched as the Wall collapsed and the dead came pouring in, people have been trying to figure out what could possibly happen next for everyone in Westeros.

From guessing who the Valonqar is to who is truly the Prince That Was Promised, speculation runs rampant. Really though... I wonder who is Game of Thrones' Chosen One?

Jon Snow and Daenerys Parallels

Now, there is one theory that has risen which speculates something about everyone's favorite little assassin, about how she'll meet her end and how it's been foreshadowed since George R. R. Martin's first book.

Arya's First Waterdancing Lesson

Drawing from A Game of Thrones, the theory pulls at Jon's words made in the first chapter of the book when he warns his little sister to not neglect her studies. "You had best run to your room little sister, Septa Mordane will surely be lurking. The longer you hide, the sterner the penance," he said, adding, "You'll be sewing all through winter, and when the spring thaw comes, they will find your body with a needle still locked tight between your frozen fingers." (*shivering*)

Martin is known for hiding foreshadowing clues as to the fate of his characters even early on as book one, however, it could be just an over-analysis done by avid readers. Either way, you can't deny Jon's words are very foreboding (and pretty chilling, no pun intended). Winter has come to the North, her home, and she has indeed run away from her training in Braavos with the Faceless Men. What's more is Arya owns a sword named Needle, a gift from Jon from Season 1 that she uses constantly in fights... and spring will come after the great battle.

A Blinded Arya faces the Waif

Jon's words related to the person she had run from carrying out punishment. If this is truly foreshadowing and if punishment may be coming for her, the theory supposes a Faceless Girl will come for Arya, as there was a casting call for a new female character to be added to the ensemble for Season 8.

The night- as well as the future- is dark and full of terrors... and we all have to wait a year longer before Season 8 returns to bring about the end.
