We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like both X-Men: Dark Phoenix and New Mutants are being pushed back with their releases.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix pushed to 2019 as other Fox films reshuffle https://t.co/FxVLzJkXRV— Entertainment Weekly (@EW) March 27, 2018
Twentieth Century Fox has announced both films will now be released in 2019, with X-Men: Dark Phoenix moved from November 2, 2018 to February 14, 2019, and New Mutants from February 22, 2019 to August 2, 2019. Those are pretty big delays.
And this isn't the first time New Mutants has been pushed back. Earlier this year, the film was delayed from its original release date of April 2018 to early 2019. And now it's just getting pushed back even further!

Now, Fox will only be releasing one X-Men film this year: the sequel to Deadpool, due May 18, 2018.
It's unclear why these films are getting a later release date, but as far as X-Men: Dark Phoenix, they might be trying to get this one just perfect, as the last film, X-Men Apocalypse (2016) did not do as well as X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014). The pressure is on.
The longer we wait for these films, the less patience we have! At least we'll have plenty of Marvel movies to watch this year, such as Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp.
