Hah, a movie with Black Widow, that's laughable. Wait... wait really?! The one character who couldn't get an action figure produced in order to keep superheroes boy-centric is actually getting something substantial?

Clearly, I've died, but if I haven't it seems that Black Widow's standalone movie is finally around the corner. Only took them nearly eight years, if not longer.

Jac Schaeffer has been hired as the official script penner (also known as a writer) for Scarlett Johansson's newest role as the master assassin. Her last prominent role in Captain America: Winter Soldier garnered interest for her character, and her roles in Avengers 1 and 2 characterized her further, even though Age of Ultron was terrible.

Schaeffer broke out with her Black List script “The Shower,” a comedy about an alien invasion during a baby shower and has continued making a name for herself with "Nasty Women." The now blonde spy finally gets her own feature film, and after the success of Wonder Woman astonished viewers, it seems that there's a possibility that other lady superheroes will make it to the big screen.

Keep your eyes out for Widow in the events of Avengers Infinity War as well as Avengers 4. Someday soon you'll see Widow with her own franchise, but never, never will we ever see a Hawkeye movie. It's simply not allowed.
