The feud between Kim Kardashian West and Taylor Swift lives on, carried out daily on social media by their fans. The latest battleground is on Kardashian West's Instagram, where the reality star posted a photo of her husband's "Famous" exhibit.
The art exhibit features a sculpture recreating the opening of Kanye West's "Famous" music video and features a naked facsimile of Taylor Swift. Swifties don't think that's a coincidence. They view it as a slight against their favorite singer.
Swifties immediately began filling the comments with rat emojis, representing Kardashian West, and snake emojis representing Swift. Originally meant as an insult from Kardashian West to Swift, the singer reclaimed the Snake image in her "Look What You Made Me Do" video. Now, her fans have followed suit, reminding the reality star that "Snakes eat rats."
Kardashian West first applied the Snake emoji to Swift after the singer took issue with her husband's lyric "I made that bitch famous." Kardashian West posted a video of her husband informing Swift of his plans along with the emoji.
Or as one commenter put it, "Kim lie to everyone saying Taylor Swift is a snake. (Old Fight) and now we revenge, saying she is a rat."
The battle rages on to this day.
