Although Jared Leto's Joker in 'Suicide Squad' got vastly different reviews, as did the film, there was one fan-favorite character. This would be none other than the psychiatrist-turned-psychopath Harley Quinn.

Margot Robbie definitely killed it as Harley, and since the film was released, fans have been patiently awaiting any word on a possible standalone movie for the character.

There's been a lot of talk about a whole lot of different 'Suicide Squad' spinoffs, such as a 'Gotham City Sirens' project, as well as a Joker and Harley Quinn film. It's honestly really hard to keep up.

Well, definitely add a standalone Harley Quinn movie to the mix, because Margot just confirmed she's been working on it, for two years now!

While talking to MTV, Margot said there is a standalone film in the works, and she's been involved producing it.

"I've been working on it for two years now," she said.

When asked to clarify if this was the Joker/Harley movie or the 'Gotham City Sirens' project, Robbie said this is a totally different one.

She also explained how no one knows when the film will be released yet, but she knows everyone is dying to see Harley back on the big screen. Uh, yeah!
