With the way the Kardashian family sets trends pretty much every time they set a foot out their door, it's not hard to believe there are copycats waiting to profit on their style.

Kim Kardashian is hitting back at these companies by suing Missguided, a fast-fashion brand who has used her name to promote what she considers knock-off versions worn by famous celebrities.

Kim says that the company used her name to trick consumers into thinking she's working with them, but that's far from the truth. They not only use her name in advertisements, but also tag her in the photos on their Instagram.

"Missguided does not merely replicate the looks of these celebrities as seen on red carpets, in paparazzi photos, and in social media posts," writes Kardashian's attorney Michael Kump of Kinsella Weitzman. "Missguided systematically uses the names and images of Kardashian and other celebrities to advertise and spark interest in its website and clothing."

"Recently, for example, after Kardashian posted a photo on Instagram of a dress that was made for her, Missguided quickly responded with its own Instagram post boasting that it would be ripping off the design within 'a few days,'" Kump continues. "Missguided purposefully inserted Kardashian’s Instagram username into its post to capitalize on her celebrity status and social media following in promoting the sale of its upcoming product."

Kardashian-West isn't the only one the site rips off. Pictures of Rihanna, Dua Lipa, and Cardi B all appear on their Instagram.

Missguided is being sued for trademark infringement, and Kardashian is reportedly seeking at least 10 million in damages, along with restrictions on the site using her.
