A whole lot of things have changed since this time last year for Ariana Grande. The pop star's 2018 involved a breakup, engagement, a new album, the tragic passing of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, and another split. But she's only thankful for the experiences she's had, and took the opportunity to pay tribute to Miller for Thanksgiving.

The 25-year-old singer took to Instagram to share a throwback photo from exactly one year ago, when she was celebrating the holiday with her ex. In the cute pic, she is resting her head on Miller, who is appears to be sleeping.

"you're v missed," Grande wrote over the photo.

The Thanksgiving tribute is hardly the first time Grande has spoke about her late ex on social media. Since his untimely passing in September, the singer has posted a photo and video to her Instagram page, one with a lengthy message on how devastated she was. "i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore," she wrote.

"we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do," Grande continued, presumably referring to her trying to help him through his struggle with addiction. "you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away."

Grande has continued to post tributes to Miller on her Instagram story, with cute videos of the late rapper, wearing his clothing, and even cuddling with his dog. We can only hope the singer's support system is as good as it seems and she is surrounded by loved ones as she mourns.
