Ariana Grande slipped on stage while performing “thank u, next” live for the first time on The Ellen DeGeneres show, but that’s about the only time the pop star has slipped up in the past few months.

Grande climbed on a chair during the performance of her new single to belt "Spend more time with my friends / I ain't worried 'bout nothin' / Plus, I met someone else / We havin' better discussions."

Ariana, taken by surprise, shouted, “Oh, my God!” but hardly missed a beat and kept on jamming to her bop. "This one gon' last / 'Cause her name is Ari / And I'm so good with that," she sang.

While the song boasts about her being single, Ariana wasn't alone during this performance; backup singers Victoria Monét and Tayla Park joined her on stage.

The performance featured some unexpected décor, including props that placed them a wedding venue. Grande posted an Instagram of the three girls standing white-clad with a flower bouquet carelessly hanging from her hand.

Ariana captioned the post, “first wives club 2018,” referencing the 1996 film, The First Wives Club. The the classic movie, Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton and Bette Midler play three friends who seek revenge on their ex-husbands.

We love that Ari is able to laugh at herself even when things don’t go exactly as planned, and can’t help but think back to the time that she was almost knocked out by a knockout Victoria’s Secret model in angel wings at the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in London.

Keep doing you, Ari, and we’ll keep watching.
