This week, Beyoncé shared photos of herself slaying in her Toni Braxton-inspired Halloween look. And this morning, Queen Bey took the crown again, sharing photos of herself dressed as three-time Olympic gold medalist Florence Griffith Joyner.
According to E! News, Beyoncé's costume mirrored that of Joyner's in the '88 Olympics, when she set the 100-meter record (10.49 seconds) and made the cover of Sports Illustrated as the "Fastest Woman in the World."
In common Beyoncé and Jay-Z fashion, the two went for a couples costume, with Jay dressing up as Olympic gold medalist Tommie Smith. Both Jay's costume and the pose he struck for the photo are reflective of Smith.
During the '68 Summer Olympics, Smith and bronze medalist John Carlos both raised their hands in the Black Power salute while wearing black gloves during the National Anthem after the 200M dash. They also wore human rights badges on their jackets, all to protest racism against African Americans in the U.S.
Bey and Jay's Halloween looks are nothing short of iconic and tons of fans have already taken to social media to praise them for paying tribute to these Olympians.
