Ariana Grande has returned to the stage for an expectedly gorgeous performance.
The 25-year-old pop star took part in the 15th anniversary special A Very Wicked Halloween on NBC, and was joined by performances from the iconic Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel, along with Adam Lambert, and more.
For Ariana's performance, she belted out "The Wizard and I," embracing the musical with green lipstick and eyeshadow, a green top, and even green nail polish. Needless to say, she killed it, and fans have been raving about her on social media since.
Ariana has a beautiful voice. I also had goosebumps. I pray she can overcome the recent difficulties and sing with the obvious joy in her voice.— Joyce Hoffmann (@Wilhemina12418) October 30, 2018
A Very Wicked Halloween marks Ariana's first performance since both her split from ex-fiancé Pete Davidson and the death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller. The singer previously took to social media to seemingly admit she almost backed out of the gig due to anxiety, but pushed through.
“Can’t believe I almost let my anxiety ruin this for me today!” Ariana wrote on Instagram on the day of her taping. “Not today Satan! Not tomorrow or the next day either not no more u can suck my big green d— finna sing my heart out and be a big walking vessel of love bye.”
Since, Ariana has announced a tour beginning next year, and even revealed she's written a new album! It's clear the singer is healing in the best way she knows possible: music. We're so proud of her talent and strength. She definitely made the Wicked special.
