Even though Blac Chyna's fame unarguably increased significantly when she started dating and subsequently had a baby and reality show with Rob Kardashian, Chyna does not credit the Kardashian family for her fame.

Instead, Chyna credits herself for her pop culture notability, with a little help from Drake along the way. Drake's credit comes from him mentioning Blac Chyna in his 2010 song "Miss Me."

Blac Chyna said to Daily Mail"I actually had a booking and I think it was in Tennessee...These guys introduced me to Drake, and Drake, you know, put me in a song and I started doing all the music videos and the magazines."

Chyna added that now, she'd like to collaborate with Drake for her own music, saying, "I'd be like, Drake, you put me on that first time, maybe we could do a little 2.0...I would love that."

In regard to the claims that the Kardashians made her famous, Blac Chyna said:

"I was already famous before then...I already was a celebrity, even back in D.C., I took over that, went to Miami and I was a celebrity down there. Came to LA, same thing. I kind of ran all three states and I'm actually kind of proud of that...I would consider myself a celebrity, which is like a celebrated person. So, it's up to you to make me this person."

To be completely honest, we haven't heard all that much about Blac Chyna since she and Rob split, but kudos to her for pursuing her music career.
