Marvel's newest anti-hero to hit the big screen is finally coming this week, as Venom premieres on Oct. 5. The reviews are starting to come in now, and though the reception is pretty divisive so far, many are talking about what happens after the credits roll.

Like most Marvel films, Venom includes a post-credits scene, but that's not all. According to ComicBook.com, the Tom Hardy-led movie will have two scenes following the film's end. While the site will not reveal what exactly goes down in said scenes, it's advised fans stay in their seats far after the credits begin.

This isn't exactly surprising, as Venom has quite a lot to set up from here. Hopeful to be the first installment in the new SUMC (Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters), the film has to introduce what's to come next, when we really have no idea what to expect.

The spin-offs set to follow Venom are for characters Morbius, Black Cat, Silver Sable, and Jackpot. There's also the possibility (and hope!) that the SUMC will incorporate Spider-Man crossovers, so a whole lot is weighing on what Venom can do with the post-credits scenes.

Only a few days left until we know all about Eddie Brock and the first SUMC project.
