It's been a week since Mac Miller sadly passed away after an apparent drug overdose. Over these past seven days, fans, family, and fellow celebrities have been honoring the life of the Pittsburgh-native in various ways. As for ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande, she simply shared a photo of him to her Instagram with no caption the day following. Now, she's ready to talk.

Grande, who dated Miller for nearly two years, was good friends with him for some time before they took their relationship from platonic to romantic, something she's stressing now.
Taking to Instagram with a heartbreakingly sweet video of Miller, Grande wrote, "i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore."
"we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do," Grande continued, presumably referring to her trying to help him through his struggle with addiction. "you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away."
"i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you’re okay now. rest," Grande concluded.

The 24-year-old singer still has her comments disabled on Instagram, a smart decision made by her shortly after news broke of Miller's passing. Unfortunately, many online trolls have been blaming her for the rapper's death, and were spamming her page with extremely nasty comments. Shameful.

Grande's post comes two days after her brother Frankie shared a post to his Instagram, crediting Miller for his own sobriety. Clearly, the rapper touched so many lives and was able to help so many people. It's truly a tragedy he's no longer here.
