Ever since the after-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War revealed that Nick Fury was making a distress call to Captain Marvel, the hype surrounding the Brie Larson movie has seriously picked up.

According to Comic Book, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige added to that hype by teasing that Captain Marvel, a.k.a. Carol Danvers, has powers in this movie that will totally alter the course of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Feige called her "more powerful" than all of the other Marvel heroes.

“She is more powerful than any character we’ve introduced thus far...that alone tells you that there’s a reason Nick hit that button at the end [of Infinity War], when he realized that they were up against something far bigger than they had ever been up against before...having her on your side is hopefully going to change the balance of power in a way that they desperately need,” Feige said to Entertainment Weekly.

Feige also assured EW that Captain Marvel will play a role in Avengers 4, that allows her to "lend a hand" to Earth's mightiest heroes.

Carol Danvers' incredible powers can be seen in all their glory when Captain Marvel hits theaters March 8, 2019!
