Just like Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's extremely quick engagement, many of us were speculating a marriage just as fast. The two seem head over heels in love with one another, and display their affection publicly at any chance they can get.
However, they're surprisingly not rushing into a wedding.
While speaking to Michael Strahan on Good Morning America today, Ariana dished on their wedding plans, saying it won't be "soon soon."
"It’s going to be like, next year," Ariana continued. "We’re going to take our time to plan it. We’ve been like planning and my friends and I, my mom and everybody have been like, brainstorming and sharing ideas and stuff, and it’s really fun. I work so much. I’ve never spent this much time or energy planning something personal that feeds my soul so much and my heart. I’m going to cry. I’m so excited. It’s sick. It’s really fun."

How adorable! You can really tell how much the couple cares about one another and their relationship by the way they speak on it. Although both Ariana, 25, and Pete, 24, are extremely excited to become husband and wife, they're smart for pumping the breaks a bit.
Not only has Ariana just given us some key information as to when the big day will be, but she's also shut down endless rumors that the two had already gotten married. At the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 20, Pete wore an accessory that sent fans into a frenzy.
The "AGD" letters on his bracelet, meaning "Ariana Grande-Davidson," made many believe the two were already married. Just a few days prior, the "God Is A Woman" singer revealed she would be changing her last name to hyphenate her soon-to-be-husband's, so Pete's bracelet really seemed like a reveal.
But, not to worry, Arianators! The two are still just engaged, and hopefully we will get every detail of their wedding plans as they come. We wish them all the best.
