Ariana Grande and James Corden are the singing duo we never knew we needed!
As promotion for her new album Sweetener, due out Aug. 17, Grande stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden, and did not disappoint. The 25-year-old singer and the host took the classic '90s film Titanic and turned it into a full-blown musical.
"Tonight, we've got 13 songs, nine sets, one take and zero pressure," Corden explained before the two took the stage. The next five minutes were then spent telling the story of the Titanic with popular songs, and it went amazingly.
It's not like I forgot how well Grande could sing, but, like, her voice! It's absolutely insane. When she sang "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion, I got goosebumps immediately. Corden added an awesome dynamic to the song as well.
Besides the unforgettable Titanic song, Grande and Corden also performed Styx's "Sailing Away," Hall & Oates' "Rich Girl," Timbaland Keri Hilson, D.O.E., and Sebastian's "The Way I Are," Foo Fighters' "Learn to Fly," and a few more awesome tracks that perfectly told the love story of Jack and Rose.
Let's give Ariana Grande and James Corden their own show, can't we?!
