Star Wars: Episode IX, directed by J.J. Abrams, is set to start filming today (cue Star Wars opening theme). Second unit director, Vic Mahoney, shared a photo on Twitter yesterday that she captured on a walk in the UK, which fans believe to be a leak of the filming location.

According to Heroic Hollywood, fans speculated the photo was taken outside Cardington Airship Sheds, the same location where the Yavin IV base was shot for A New Hope and Rogue One. They think the space is most likely being used for a new set.

Mahoney will be the first black woman to ever hold a directing role in the Star Wars franchise and it's evident she's looking forward to working with everyone.

Episode IX will star some familiar faces, including Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo and Billie Lourd.

We'll also see some new faces joining the cast: Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, and Keri Russell.

These cast members will be able to work alongside true Star Wars veteran actors, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels and Billy Dee Williams. Carrie Fisher's role of Leia Organa will reportedly be revived using unreleased footage shot for The Force Awakens.

Star Wars: Episode IX is set to premiere in theaters Dec. 20, 2019.
