Over the weekend, the highly anticipated trailer for Aquaman was released and viewers were finally able to catch a glimpse into Atlantis. However, soon after, we ended up getting even more information than we expected, thanks to the film's star Jason Momoa.
During an interview withEntertainment Weekly, Jason may have accidentally spoiled the ending of Aquaman. *Possible Spoilers Ahead*
When promoting the DC film, Jason said, "Obviously this is the whole origin story. We've seen him in Justice League, which is two minutes of his whole life so we get to see where he came from."
But while the trailer shows where he came from (his father was a lighthouse keeper and his mother was the Queen of Atlantis), Jason spoiled where his character ends up. "I think when he was a little boy, he had these powers and he didn't hone them in so this whole journey of him going to become the king... the last frame of this movie you're going to see him actually become the thing he was destined to be," he shared.
Is that really the ending of Aquaman!?
Besides his standalone DC film, Jason Momoa will also be starring in an upcoming Apple series, an epic, world-building drama, See. He also famously appeared on Game of Thrones, though his character didn't make it to the upcoming season, or anywhere close.
But we'll get to see more of him when Aquaman hits theaters on December 21!
