Kit Harington just wrapped a major part of his life, as he recently got married to former Game of Thrones co-star Rose Leslie, and finished his last day of filming for the HBO series himself.

While talking on BBC Radio 2, Harington described his finals days on set, as the show recently wrapped up production on the final season of Game of Thrones, describing the bittersweet ending as "quite emotional."

“I actually just wrapped on Thursday last week,” Harington explained. “It’s been this amazing journey, and I kind of said to them in my wrap speech that it’s always been more than a job. It’s like they were a family and it was my life. I’ve loved every minute."

Harington will appear in the upcoming stage play True West by Sam Shepard this Winter, but it will be interesting to see where the fan-favorite actor will go next. Maybe he'll join Game of Thrones co-star Sophie Turner and make his way over to Disney's Marvel universe? The doors are now wide open for Harington.

Game of Thrones was just nominated for 22 Emmy Awards, with the final season set to air sometime in 2019.
