Lewis Tan has been a fan-favorite fringe Marvel actor for the past year now. Originally auditioning for the titular role in Netflix's Iron Fist, the role went to Finn Jones, with Tan playing the character Zhou Chang, a fighter with the "drunken fist style" in one episode of the series.

Tan would later go on to play Shatterstar in Deadpool 2, one of the members of the short-lived X-Force team, who was believed to have a larger role in the film before being played off as one of the most memorable gags of the movie.

In an interview with Syfy Wyre, Tan stated he will presumably reprise his role as Shatterstar in the upcoming X-Force film, despite only Deadpool, Cable, and Domino confirmed to return. "You’re going to see more of my character in the X-Force film," he revealed, before backpedaling to say that, "that’s what it’s looking like.”

"Thankfully, Deadpool went back and had a little time machine that he stole,” he explained. "Hopefully he brings back Shatterstar and everybody, because the fans really enjoyed that scene, and I get a lot of attention online about how they thought it was one of the best scenes in the film,”

"Hopefully" doesn't sound like much of a confirmation, but Tan has been one to put his hat in the ring for more roles to stoke fans before. Earlier this year, Tan had posted that he met with DC about a potential role as Nightwing, considering rumored director Chris McKay wanted a martial artist for the film.

Tan then clarified that while he met with DC, it wasn't specifically for the Nightwing film, though he would "love to show what I would do with the character," "if the chance came." The post was accompanied by a fan made image of Tan as Nightwing.

While it would be amazing to see Tan as Nightwing, just like it would have Iron Fist and even more Shatterstar, it seems we'll have to wait for Marvel or DC to confirm any potential ongoing role for the actor.
