According to Collider, the film is set in 1969, following a former Western TV series star (played by Leonardo), struggling to succeed in Hollywood with his longtime stunt double, (played by Brad). The film will also include Margot Robbie, playing the next-door neighbor Sharon Tate.
This script apparently has a Pulp Fiction-esque tone, and will be Tarantino's ninth film. He has famously said that he would only make ten movies, and then retire. So perhaps, the end is near.
