At 2018's Produced By Conference, Marvel fans received some interesting hints at the future of the MCU from Marvel Studious President Kevin Feige, usually one to misdirect fan's expectations and not tease the future.

While some projects such as the Black Widow project are currently under development, rumored solo films for other heroes such as Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier and Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye are also up for consideration.

Feige revealed a three-pronged addition past the films we already know exist, which as Comicbook.com reports will include "stories for familiar characters, stories for characters familiar only to those who are serious comics fans, and even 'different incarnations' of some beloved current characters."

MCU Cosmic believes the comment regarding 'only to those who are serious comics fans' refers to the rumored Eternals film, while 'different incarnations' could refer to Kamala Khan's Ms. Marvel following Captain Marvel, and possibly even Kate Bishop as Hakweye following Jeremy Renner's retire of his character Clint Barton.

"It is all about figuring out when and how," Feige told Vulture last February about adding more female superheroes to the MCU. "But by the way, many of them have already filmed additional scenes in upcoming movies, so some of that is gonna come sooner rather than later. All of them will be seen again."

Avengers: Infinity War is currently playing in theaters, with Ant-Man and the Wasp up next on July 6th, 2018.
