The snap heard around existence and wiped away half of the Marvel existence- apparently will not affect the various Marvel television shows!

Thanos on Titan

Why is that? Well, first off, because Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb said it "mostly" won't be the case, and second, because these stories take place before the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Because of the timeline difference, the cataclysmic events of Infinity War won't be seen on any of the upcoming Marvel shows for quite some time.

Agents of SHIELD and Infinity War no time connection

"For the most part our stories will take place BEFORE Thanos clicked his fingers." Loeb writes in a Reddit comment. "A lot of that has to do with production and when we are telling our stories vs. when the movies come out. So hang in there. I remember in the comics, one of my favorite stories was the KREE-SKRULL war... which was universal, but in X-Men, no mention. Huh. And it all worked out in the end!"

Loeb is referring to one of the major crossover events in Marvel comics that saw different and separate series banding together to tell one story, but one significant group of people weren't even affected until they were, it was just later down the line, and that was what Loeb was hinting at.

Agents of SHIELD

Some fans might be disappointed this means a disconnect in terms of the story since technically with the MCU, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Netflix's Marvel shows run in tandem, but audiences still have yet to see how everything resolves next year in Avengers 4, because maybe everything in terms of timeline will make more sense then.
