Attention horror fans: One of the most iconic villains of all time is back, and he's out for blood! This Halloween, we can all welcome back Michael Myers, as he's returning for his sister once again.
In the first full-length trailer from Blumhouse, we get a closer look at the next installment in the Halloween franchise, which seems to be a direct sequel to the original Halloween (1978), and will follow Laurie Strode and her family four decades after her brother's first killing spree.
I have goosebumps...
The best part about this installment is that original cast members Jamie Lee Curtis (Laurie) and Nick Castle (Michael) are back, so it looks legit. Alongside the Halloween OGs, the film will also star Judy Greer as Karen, Laurie's daughter, and Andi Matichak as her granddaughter, Allyson.
It seems the film will not account for anything that happened in any of the Halloween sequels, reboots, etc. from 1978 to now. And honestly, I'm here for it. It's a completely new story following the original masterpiece John Carpenter brought us!
And that’s a wrap. Darlene Vega painted this of Michael Myers. @halloweenmovie #halloweenmovie Everybody who made the movie did so because of their passion for John Carpenter and Debra Hill’s original vision. I think you will all be very happy and VERY scared. See you 10/19/18 pic.twitter.com/3ZT1rfx6pD— Jamie Lee Curtis (@jamieleecurtis) February 18, 2018
