With Solo: A Star Wars Story just a day away (or hours away for lucky fans seeing early the premiere tonight), the pressure is on for this prequel to really impress us. I mean, it is about Han Solo after all, a fan-favorite character who tragically met his demise at the hands of his own son in The Force Awakens. Yeah, this movie has better be good.
But who does this movie need the acceptance the most of? Besides us devoted fans, of course, what about the original Han Solo actor himself, Harrison Ford? Well, it's all good things. Ford has seen the film and he approves. Phew!

Director Ron Howard recalled Ford's comments on the film, telling Variety, “I had never heard Harrison effusive about anything, and he was raving about it. He said, ‘Alden [Ehrenreich] nailed it. He made it his own.’”
And Ford himself recently spoke out on how he feels about the film, when he interrupted Ehrenreich's interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“I just thought it was spectacular,” Ford shared. “I thought [Ehrenreich] was so smart about what he did and how he did it. I just couldn’t be happier.”
With Harrison Ford's own stamp of approval, Solo is shaping up to be a welcomed addition to the Star Wars world. We cannot wait to see it!
