What would Deadpool think if he saw his creator crying? Honestly, this is a better question to ask Ryan Reynolds since he plays the character so well.

Alrighty, so maybe he can't play the video game as he's not done it before, but as for playing the role of Deadpool created by Rob Liefeld, Ryan Reynolds would be the one to consult. But anyway, as for the creator, Liefeld had a confession to make about Deadpool 2.
I cried at the end of Deadpool 2. Part was the nostalgia of the particular track blasting but mostly the emotion that they had landed the plane in such spectacular fashion. The plane is the movie in this analogy, there is no important plane landing sequence I’m referencing.— robertliefeld (@robertliefeld) May 11, 2018
I can see why it's emotional for a creator to see his creation working on the screen under the direction of different writers, and at the hands of someone who truly enjoys the character.
I wiped those tears away as fast as I could before the lights came up because I couldn’t have everyone going “ Why is Liefeld crying over Deadpool 2?” Movie is a blast. Dream come true. Spectacular hurdle cleared. Get ready for Cable, Domino and the rest!— robertliefeld (@robertliefeld) May 11, 2018
It's great to hear the movie is a blast, though that's to be expected when the team and actor have such creative leeway over everything.
Deadpool 2 is set to release this upcoming week and will feature the likes of Domino and Cable and the return of Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead along other supporting characters from the first film.
