Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are living the life. They’re overwhelmingly successful and they’re raising a lovely family. You would think the married couple would give their kids their earnings once they grow up. That doesn’t seem to be happening.
Ashton revealed he doesn’t even plan on giving his kids an inheritance on Dax Shepard's new podcast "Armchair Expert.”
"I'm not setting up a trust for them," he said, explaining, "We'll end up giving our money away to charity and to various things."
"My kids are living a really privileged life, and they don't even know it. And they'll never know it, because this is the only one that they'll know," Ashton said, also admitting when he grew up in a lower-middle class family, rich people were seen as “evil."
Ashton seems to want his kids to live a very simplistic life and enjoy the world as kids, not the kids of super rich celebrity parents. He also revealed he has a strategy to try taking his kids on camping trips. "I want them to be really resourceful," he said.
"As long as they know what to do when they don't have things . . . so hopefully they'll be motivated to have what they had, or some version of what they had," he continued. This isn’t to say that the couple won’t help their kids at all, however.
"If my kids want to start a business, and they have a good business plan, I'll invest in it," Ashton said, stressing, "But they're not getting trusts." It seems Ashton and Mila are very grounded with their family values! How do you feel about their decision?
